All members are invited to attend the AGM of AKSA, to review the activities of the association and vote in the new committee. Each affiliated State Association is sending a representative, so if you can't make it please contact them to vote on your behalf. Last years meeting in Perth had a good turnout of members, and we are hoping for a similar result this year.

Office Bearer Nominations must be signed by 2 members and have the consent of the nominated member, and must be delivered to the secretary at least 7 days before the AGM. Proxy votes

A maximum of 5 proxy votes can be held by a member attending the AGM. The Secretary must be notified of Proxy votes no later than 24 hours before meeting, using the AKSA proxy vote form. Submissions had been received from two parties requesting hosting rights to the upcoming seasons AKSA National Titles Events. After careful consideration of the online applications and thorough investigation of all supporting documentation it was resolved that the events be split between the applicants.
2010/11 AKSA National Freestyle & Racing Titles be awarded to the Townsville based applicants with the events to be run at Alva Beach QLD.
2010/11 AKSA National Wave Titles be awarded to the Victorian applicants with the event to be run at Warrnambool Vic.

Congratulations to both applicants. Judging by the quality of the applications Australia can expect to see yet another step up in the standard of national competition organisation this coming season.
