Membership Forms Minimize

Membership Registrations for season 2009/10 are open.

Memberships can now be completed online for most state associations. See details below on how to join or renew. AKSA Membership year runs from 1 October 2009 to 30 September 2010 at a cost of $65.

Your membership becomes effective from the date your online registration is enacted OR completed forms and payment are received.

Regardless of when your annual registration commences it will expire on the 30th of Sept. 2010.

The sooner you join the better value you receive! At present the fee is split between AKSA; as the national sporting body which receives $25; and your state or local association which receives $40.

Your AKSA membership provides the public liability insurance which is vital not only to your own peace of mind but to our bargaining power in all negotiations undertaken on behalf of all kiters.

Your state or local association will forward your 'welcome pack'. This will include your numbered harness tag and other 'goodies' your state KSA deem desirable to acknowledge and encourage your support. Membership with one state is reciprocated with all other state affiliates via AKSA. You will be welcome at all national & state sanctioned events around Australia.

If you are interested in joining or renewing your membership we thank you for your support. Most states offer quick and easy online registrations from their own websites. If they do not yet have this facility then downloadable forms are available for completion and return with your payment. Once our new integrated website initiative is fully activated all states will have independent sites offering online membership enrolment through one central, cost and  time efficient data base.

By supporting AKSA and your local or state association with your membership funds and are helping to preserve and develop the sport and to keep it free and safe for all kiters and the public.

Submissions had been received from two parties requesting hosting rights to the upcoming seasons AKSA National Titles Events. After careful consideration of the online applications and thorough investigation of all supporting documentation it was resolved that the events be split between the applicants.
2010/11 AKSA National Freestyle & Racing Titles be awarded to the Townsville based applicants with the events to be run at Alva Beach QLD.
